Bright & Glam Bedroom Makeover

Good morning, sweet friends!

I'm happy to return with another edition of our weekly Home & Decor Encore series. Last week, we took our Friday off for spring break, but today, we're back with another set of awesome projects.

How was your Easter week?

We didn't do anything special. In fact, I was inside for most of the week in the little powder room, painting it.

I gave that tiny powder room about five coats of paint, and that's without counting the two coats of primer. Then, I gave it a stenciled design, and that's how my entire weekend was spent. 😔

But guess what?

That powder room is DONE, and it looks ah-maaazing! 😁

I'm now editing the pics and even the little videos I recorded. If I work fast, I might post the reveal on Saturday or Sunday. Stay tuned; I can't wait to share it with you!

OK, back to the bedroom I makeover early last year during my visit to Bogota, Colombia. This is my niece Paula's bedroom.

Paula first tried to bring change to her room by painting a geometric design on the main wall.

The design was a great dash of color, but somehow, the room lacked cohesiveness and warmth.

Ha, not anymore!

I covered the bold design with subtle damask wallpaper. Then, that window was dressed with a set of drapes. A chandelier and many more lights were installed, as well as two beautiful mirrors that reflected light onto those corners.

She was delighted that she finally got the glam room she sought!

Welcome back to another edition of Home & Decor Encore, a weekly series where my friends and I share the best of the best from our archives.

Big thanks to Doreen at Hymns & Verses & Lori at The Stonybrook House for organizing this group.
