Simple Spring Home Decor Ideas

This is about the time when I start wondering if Spring would ever get here. It's been overall a cold winter with a few warm days in between weeks of freezing temperatures. I guess this pattern is going to continue for quite some time.

Nothing we can change, that's for sure.

However, we can cheer ourselves up by adding spring inside our homes while the weather outside starts cooperating.

Let's start by packing up all the Christmas and winter decor. Ugh, I still have a few Christmas decorations lingering in the backyard. 😬

Go through your previous year's spring decor pictures to take inventory of what you have. You can unpack the items you want to use again this year. I also find the pictures very helpful in keeping track of what I have so I don't buy similar items when I go out shopping for new decor.

Get flowers. Nothing says spring has arrived as a beautiful bouquet of daffodils or tulips! You'll find tulips all year round in most grocery stores. Get plenty of them.

Flowering plants are another great option to bring spring inside your home. They will last you well into summer.

Tree branches/flowering branches are one more spring staple.

Decorate your shelves and coffee tables with birds, nests, little eggs, greenery moss.

Add a spring wreath to your front door.

Change the pillows on the sofa.

Update a few frames with new spring printables.

Well, these are a few of the ideas I like to put into practice in my own home even before bringing in the bunnies, carrots, and Easter eggs! 😊
