The unofficial start of Summer is here, and tomorrow, some red, white, and blue décor will be added around the house.
I love patriotic décor. Those three colors look so striking that they look good in almost any setting.
I mostly use small holiday décor found at Target, Walmart, or Dollar Tree to make pretty vignettes and decorate the backyard. For very little money, you can decorate your rooms for the holidays and store the decorations after the holiday season is over so you can reuse them in the following years.
❤️❤️❤️
Here are ten very inexpensive ways that I use to decorate for Memorial Day and the Fourth of July:
- Garlands
- Stars
- Paper plates and cups
- Kitchen towels
- Pillow covers
- Flags - Those little flags look nice all around your home.
- Signs
- A wreath on your front door
- Jars, bottles
- Fabrics, of course, in red, white, and blue!
Hmm, I'm thinking of setting a patriotic tablescape too. Crossing my fingers so I can have the time for that.
And here we got to one more Friday with another Home & Décor Encore edition. A weekly series where my blogging friends and I share the best of the best from our archives!
Big thanks to Doreen at Hymns & Verses & Lori at The Stonybrook House for organizing this group.
Today, Doreen is sharing her beautiful home dressed in yellow, Lori got busy priming the stair spindles and risers, and she has all the details for you; Christy is using a Sharpie to add beautiful designs to Citronella buckets, and Marty gives you great advice on how to find the right white paint, and I'm sharing my living room dressed in red, white and blue.
