When April arrives, these flowering trees put on a show throughout the neighborhood. My favorite part is waking up and seeing this massive tree from my bedroom window.
The white blossoms, indeed, are magnificent, but what I love about my view is how those clouds of flowers frame the little birdhouse in the tree.
Can you spot it?
This quaint little house was a DIY project I stumbled upon a few springs ago to use up wood remnants. They have had occupants living in them each year, and it brings me such joy to see my work being used in nature.
These little houses are a relatively easy project you can tackle on weekends.
You can get the complete details on how to build this type of birdhouse right HERE.
But hey, it's Friday, and with it comes another edition of Home & Decor Encore, a weekly series in which my friends and I share the best of the best from our archives.
Big thanks to Doreen at Hymns & Verses & Lori at The Stonybrook House for organizing this group.
