Did you know that January is "Get Organized" month? or GO month? It's like a no-brainer, right?
This is one of the months we all go into full organization mode, trying to put order to that Christmas decoration chaos around our homes.
What seems like a daunting task, can in fact run very smoothly when you have the proper tools or storage solutions.
I've spent the past two weeks organizing my side of the basement. The little corner where I store all the holiday and seasonal décor, fabrics, vases, paper goods, etc., etc.
I didn't take many pictures because whatever pictures I take there don't look good, after all, it's an unfinished basement.
However, while working there, I kept on looking at the storage shelves I built for my husband a few years ago. I have to report that he has kept that area very well organized. That huge storage shelf has kept that messy man quite organized. Which is really, kind of unthinkable! :D Or better yet, the proper storage solution for a guy like him. ;)
Welcome back to another edition of Home & Decor Encore a weekly series where my friends and I share the best of the best from our archives.
Big thanks to Doreen at Hymns & Verses & Lori at The Stonybrook House for organizing this group.
In today's post, Doreen is giving you beautiful and easy Winter decorating ideas to warm up your home. Lori came up with an ingenious way to keep those drawers organized, and Laura has you covered with easy Valentine's day ideas, Christy is keeping all those kids' school memories organized and I'm sharing how you can build a huge and strong storage shelf for your basement or garage.
