I couldn't believe my ears when talking to my husband, a few days ago, he reassured me that this weekend was in fact Memorial Day weekend.
WHAT?
Yes, it was a big surprise! Summer's here and I'm behind schedule on so many fronts.
I might not be the only one feeling this way. This pandemic has kept us all indoors, having to deal with interminable days full of hours that fly by. In our area, the lockdown is still in place.
Well, I've decided not to take things for granted and enjoy every single day, as if it is the last.
This holiday weekend I'm going to be home, most probably like most of you, celebrating it with the people we love the most.
Let's make it a special one, celebrating it around an easy-to-set red, white and blue tablescape!
