Summer Home Tour

Hello there!

Once again, I'm joining forces with my friend Marty from A Stroll Thru Life and a bunch of blogger friends to bring you a full week of beautiful Summer home tours. - Five days, 30 bloggers, and tons of summer decor inspiration!

As for me, hmm, I've been working on our
outdoor spaces. I'm almost done reviving the lawn and main structures and this week I'm going to start decorating those areas.

Inside the house, I'm giving the main rooms simple and very affordable touches of summer decor.

In the living room, a quick change of drapes gave this room an entirely new look.

Updating the throw pillows and adding a bouquet of hydrangeas greatly improved its new look. You can check more about this room update right HERE.

In the kitchen, I went with the "less is more" attitude.

I'm trying to keep clutter at bay, starting with the island, the place everyone loves to drop stuff on.

Blue has been my happy color for a few months already. Blue summer glasses serve as decor here, on the kitchen shelves.

The family room is on the opposite side of this long room.

The fireplace, the focal point in this room got a new art piece that I painted myself. ;)

I like how easy it is to keep this room organized. I've been so happy with it since its big makeover, storage space is the key to clutter-free rooms.

Ha, bringing Louie outside is a sure way to cheer him up! :)  He was happy out here looking at the squeaky clean steps. ;)
