Well, we are! And we're embracing it.
So far, around 10 inches have fallen down.
The plan for this white Saturday ---> Go sledding with the kids.
:)
Unlike today's weather, last Saturday was kind of warm, or as I kept on saying it all day long, the perfect day to go thrifting.
That's exactly what we did!
:)
I headed to Frederick, MD with my sister-in-law. The main purpose of our trip...
A visit to Sweet Clover
My blogging friend Cassie from Primitive and Proper and her team were holding a ribbon cutting ceremony and also, celebrating Sweet Clover's fresh new start.
And what a start!
I arrived some time in the afternoon and the place was packed.
Yeah, there was beauty all around this cozy barn.
They had those big signs that look so well in any room...
Lots of vintage furniture with the most wonderful "chippy" patina.
Old doors, ladders, mirrors, china sets, and lots of other things!
I liked the variety I saw...
Because, we all don't like the same things.
And that's something you'll appreciate when visiting Sweet Clover...
They have a good selection of eclectic finds where everyone can find something they love.
- I was drooling over the wall art in the picture below -
But, if the place was packed with lots of great stuff, the energy and happiness you could sense all around was tenfold.
While taking pictures, I went looking for something for my son's room.
I found that something, but I forgot to take a picture of it.
You'll find about it in the reveal of his room coming soon.
This last shot goes to my companion who commanded me to take a picture of this sweet fellow:
What a great experience we had, can't wait to stop by again!

ReplyDeleteWell, they certainly picked the right word when they decided to use "sweet" in the name of that shop! I would love to live close enough to visit...of course, we too were buried in blizzard conditions this weekend, so the only shopping I did was online! ;)
