Create Your Own Hot Cocoa Station This Winter

Thanks so much for all your kind comments to my previous post, my Christmas home tour!
I'm so glad the decorating part is all done, which means, I can enjoy my home, with all those pretty touches that makes it so warm and cozy at this time of the year, and surrounded by the people I love the most, my family!

Well, there are some projects that are still in the works, I'm also working a bit on that. ;)

As stated before, this year for the first time ever, I decided to create a hot cocoa station, and you know what?

It was so EASY!

I'm going to give you some tips, so you can also create a hot cocoa station you can enjoy all winter long.

WHERE
As I said in my last post, my cocoa station was done in a little piece of my ''Laundry/Bar/PassagewaybetweenGarage&kitchen" room.
This is formally known as our laundry room because the washer and dryer are there, but when I updated it I also added an area that serves as a bar.
Since it's so close to the kitchen, it comes in very handy when I have guests, they prepare their drinks right there and I have my own space in my tiny kitchen.

You can use a dresser or a small table to create your own, maybe a cart with wheels so you can pull your station wherever you need it.

THE GOODIES

The main ingredient you need is: The hot cocoa!
And well, you can add so many other things that you probably already have, like chocolate chips, marshmallows, candy canes, cookies, whipped cream, cinnamon, nutmeg ...
So many possibilities!

THE SET UP
I used a wooden wine box with added divisions from my scrap pile of wood.
Three -Let It Snow- containers from the Dollar Store, and the rest were clear recycled glass jars.

Sugar, milk and some honey Grahams to make s'mores are also available.

For us is not only a cocoa station, it's also a bar. Paper and plastic cups were also added.

In order to give it a formal look, a Hot Cocoa sign was done on yet, another piece of wood from the scrap pile. ;)

I extended the bar on top of the machines by using another wine box to hold glasses.

On the shelf, a - Warm Up Here - sign with a big bunch of the Epsom Salts Luminaries I shared with your a few days ago create such a nice glow when the lights in the room are turned off.

You can really make your own station very inexpensively with things you already have!
