Here I am, two days before Christmas sharing my home tour.
I know.
Late.
Well, very late!
I was trying to finish all the Christmas decor on the first week of December but I guess I didn't try that hard. :/
As I always say... Next year it's going to be different.
I do hope so. ;)
I've already shared some of the rooms, I'm adding the links to those rooms in this post, no need to make this one too long.
So, let's begin with the kitchen.
As you can see, I'm enjoying my newly painted breakfast set.
Red snowflake placemats and white dishes continue the theme. Cuttings from the yard were used to create cute arrangements.
My kitchen is so small, I try to keep its decor to a minimum. The roman shade was updated with a new fabric.
And the rosemary I planted in the window herb box during Spring got a red suit for the holidays.
Apples on a cake stand are the main decor on the island.
The focus in the adjacent family room is the fireplace, where the mantel was dressed up with big red snowflakes...
And a new set of stockings.
This is the room we spent most of our time. Here my daughter working on some Polymer clay gifts for her friends.
A few more decorations complete this room.
In the living room, the Noel window art is what grabs most of the attention. This is the room where I've been wrapping all my presents.
It's also here where we have our Christmas tree. This year I made most of the ornaments.
The contiguous dining room is all set up for our Christmas dinner.
On one of the walls I hung a quilt I made a long time ago, the first one I ever made and probably the last one too. ;)
I'm loving the new set of dishes I got like a month ago. Those bumpy edges are so fun!
However, what I love the most about this table is the centerpiece, it gives such a glow to the entire room! I got the candelabra for two dollars during one of my flea market outings. In order to give it some height I mounted it on a scrap piece of 4x4.
The master bedroom was given the plaid treatment.
The red and white theme goes so well in this room too.
My husband's collection of vintage cameras takes center stage here.
Last but not least the guest room. It was the easiest room to decorate for Christmas, it already sported the needed colors.
A little tree...
And a few other decorations, and done.
I hope you have enjoyed the tour. I'm going to be away from blog-world for the remaining of the year. Next week I'm only going to post the year's recap.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
XOXO
