I hope you had a great holiday weekend! I enjoyed it with my family doing overall nothing :) really! Well, I've been so busy these past three weeks, trying to keep my little guest and kids entertained, that most of my projects had to be put on hold.
I've been to the beach, amusement parks, touring around DC visiting the museums, enjoying time at the pool, hiking, lots of shopping... and you know what? That involved LOTS of walking :/ So, when my visitor departed this past Saturday (hmmm after taking her to the flea market), I decided to do nothing and it felt so good :) I might continue this trend for a couple more days ;)
The flea market was kinda empty this past weekend, not surprisingly, due to the holiday, but as usual, something was found.
Since my backyard is still a work in progress, I kept my eyes peeled for stuff that I can use there. This hanging basket fits the bill nicely, I love the "emeralds", as my son calls them, and the pretty design. It has its flows, but for only one buck, the only bad thing is not having at least two of them.
My daughter keeps on proving that she is learning how to deal with and find the good stuff. This cute shelf was her score.
I like the distressing and of course the price, $1.
I've been trying to stay away from frames. I already have many in the basement, I haven't even used many of them!
But who can say no to these pretty gold frames for only one buck a piece?!
My favorite was this set of small vintage glass bottles.
10 little dusty old bottles for $5.
I think the amber bottle is the one I like the most.
Though, they are all pretty.
Can you spot them decorating the bookcase in my newly updated guest room?
But hey, you know what?! I'm just thinking why not give away one of these nice items, that would make these "Flea Market Time" posts more exciting!
Sooooo here it goes ---> The two golden frames, that's it! to a lucky winner :) Five easy ways to enter!

Love your finds! At a flea market in my area the woman told me she found all those glass bottles buried on her property. She said that was how they were disposed of back then.
