As incredible as it appears, this is my first ever advent calendar!
Like five years ago I learned they existed (incredible, right?), and I promised myself to create one the following Christmas.
Ha, it never happened
One more of those promises...
Like the one of planting Paperwhites so by Christmas time all those pretty white flowers would be in full bloom...
Or growing those fragrant rosemary trees from cuttings...
Or having a nativity set just like the ones my mother used to create.
Nope, those are still on a waiting list!
At least I'm happy one of those promises was fulfilled.
And on time ;)
My kids are not that small any more to expect candies or little treats, they've never even had a sweet tooth. The plain calendar is full of excitement on its own :) Looking at my son while he flies to catch the snowflake to place it on a new spot/day is fun.
It is lots of fun counting the days to Christmas!
I'm pretty sure you also have a list of un-fulfilled promises,
or maybe you just crossed one of those projects off your list?
I'd love to know I'm not the only one ;)
Wrapping paper on the old windows found at T.J. Max
