She decided to give cookies and chocolates. I also bought parchment paper, decorative ribbon, some pretty economical mugs, little buckets, and glass tree containers.
The cookies got wrapped, baby blanket styled.
Some box wood and pine clippings from the yard gave them extra charm.
Chocolates were placed in the mugs and little buckets, kind of in a cheating way. ;)
Some more chocolates in the glass containers and done!
I had a happy girl with some Christmas cheer by Friday morning.
:)
Great last minute gift ideas! Love the baby blanket folding. Looks so elegant! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! I love the way you folded the cookies into the paper. I'm a terrible gift wrapper and usually just use bags- not very imaginative, I know. Have a great Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea to swaddle the cookies. ;) Turned out so cute!

These are great ideas, Cristina! The creative ways that you packaged each one makes them so festive!
ReplyDeleteVery creative! Shall store the ideas in my memory bank for emergency gift wrapping. I looked every where for red 'n white striped paper this year and not a shred of it could be found; so 'thank you' for the tip as never thought about using Holiday Parchment Paper. (Duh me! .... ºÜº) -Brenda-
ReplyDeleteI love your ideas, the "presentation" and your photography! Very Merry!
ReplyDeleteHi Cristina, these are so pretty. Where did you find such pretty parchment paper? I don't think I've ever see any like that. The little cookie packets look so pretty all wrapped up with the little sprigs of greenery, and the red Merry Christmas ribbon is so cute. What a clever and creative mom you are. I'm sure your daughter's friends and teachers really appreciated the thoughtful gifts.

Thanks Everyone! Debbie, I bought everything at Wal-Mart. I love that parchment paper, only $1.97 and I got lots of leftover sheets for future projects.
