Welcome! Christmas is my favorite time of the year and I'm so excited to show you around our house!
I'm sharing our home tour alongside a group of talented bloggers hosted by Marty @ A Stroll Thru Life.
If you're coming from Dimples & Tangles, welcome! Isn't Jennifer a genius at mixing patterns and colors? Adorable!
This year again, I went with the classic red and white palette. The thing is, my kids, love it. It's not Christmas if red isn't incorporated into the decor. So, yeah, I gave them plenty of red, but I also added green and created a "Farm Fresh Christmas Tree" theme. 😉🎄🎄

Range Hood Makeover | Area Rug | Plate Rack |
Let's start here at the heart of our home, the kitchen. Two months ago I gave it a re-fresh with paint, new hardware, and lighting fixtures. For Christmas, I only added a few pops of red.
A little wreath gave the range hood the right amount of contrast.

York Three Light Pendant | Kitchen Island Makeover | Kitchen Stools |
I tried to keep the kitchen decor to a minimum, the window sill is the home of that cute Santa that's packed with presents.
The kitchen island decor is usually fruits or a bouquet. This time, however, my daughter was helping me with some drinks that look cute enough to use as decor.
Let's grab a drink and head into the dining room.
This space is, for the most part of the year, my office. During the holidays I love to set the table to use it as our main dining room.
The focal point here is the big sign that sets the tone for my theme. I made it a few weeks ago grabbing inspiration from Pinterest.

Storage Chest | Snowman | Boxwood Wreath |
On the shelves, I left the folders and the storage boxes and adding a few Christmas decorations changed the mood from office stuff to holiday decor.
The table was set as a mini Christmas tree farm. You can see more of this tablescape in my previous post right HERE.

Farmhouse Table Makeover | Pendant light | Window Trim |
If you're new here, I have to tell you that I'm a happy DIY'er that gets into crazy projects like the build-ins and coffered ceiling you see in this room. I love adding architectural features to my rooms. Though, I'm a slowpoke. ;)
Oh, and this guy is making things worse. Who can work when having a little face begging for playtime! We're pet-sitting him. His dad is sick and once he recovers I am the one that's gonna be sick missing cute little Louie. 😔
Here again, the table with the contiguous living room at the far end.

Board & Batten Wall | Wreath | Coffee Table | Rug |
A boxwood wreath on an old window is the big statement here. I also added little trees that I cut with my Silhouette to fill up that big wall.
Here's another view of this, the living room. Accent pillows are truly a great and economic way to change the decor with every season.
Coffee Table | Advent Calendar | Stockings
Our main Christmas tree is by the side of the fireplace in the family room. The red and white theme continues alongside some wooden tones.
I scored that little white chair a few days ago at a thrift store. It's so well-made and cute! It's the perfect spot for Maia mouse to sit and keep an eye on those presents. Well, that's if Louie stops pulling her shoes! 😄
You see, she is not too happy. :/
My bedroom is the only space that sports a neutral palette. Ha, I needed it! According to my daughter... Boo. Boring.

Headboard | Build-ins | Sweater Knit Blanket |
My son's room was another space that only needed a few accessories.
Teen Boy Room Makeover | Sheet set | White Brick Wallpaper |
I got this Christmas tree sign at Lucketts, you can check the post about my visit there for tons more Christmas decor inspiration.
Red Truck with Christmas Tree | Build-ins | Chair |
I'll probably make another post about this room because I don't want to make this one any longer.
Light | Bed | Letter M wall art
