Stuff We Love - Holiday Edition

Hey there!

It was a busy weekend, I was trying to move faster than usual working on the dining room project, it's almost done. I'm almost at the painting stage, which is kind of the last part, so this week is going to be a busy one too.  I hope you've had a more enjoyable weekend than mine and hey, can you believe Thanksgiving is here?!

Today I'm joining my friend Sarah - Thrifty Decor Chick and a bunch of lovely bloggers for this year's edition of Stuff We Love. I hope you can find great ideas for those hard-to-buy-for people on your list and hey, why not, even for yourself!

You can check my last year's favorites right here.

Let's start in the kitchen with these glass jars.

I really love their simple, clean look. I have three of them on the kitchen counter, but I wish I had a big pantry to have a beautiful display like the one above. They are good all around the house, I also have them in the laundry room and bathrooms. What ever you put in them it's gonna look good. I usually buy them at Walmart or Target, they have their best price.
I used to have the regular Magic Bullet, but it was not good enough for us. This year I got the NUTRiBULLET and we're loving it, especially my daughter. She is the one who uses it the most for her morning power juices. Easy enough for her to blend all the ingredients, mostly fruits and vegetables, serve it and take it on her way to school.

Well, guess what, I'm one of those... Yep, adult people who likes coloring books. I love the designs in this book. As it says, it's a stress reliever, you color and you forget about other stuff. :)

Ha, but if you're coloring, you need a good set of color pencils, and these, the Prismacolor Color Pencils, are without a doubt my favorites! Ever since I was a little girl living in Colombia, these were the ones my mother bought for us, me and my siblings, they bring such good memories, maybe I'm bias, but not really, they're the best! :)

Christmas Pillow Covers - They are fun, they are affordable, they look good!

Black and White Pillow Covers - I just ordered a bunch of these pillow covers that pretty soon you're gonna see in my decor. Prices on these go from about three bucks and up, it's really a no brainer to order a few.

However, with lots of pillow covers you're gonna need PILLOW INSERTS. Well, my favorite inserts are from IKEA here, they're very affordable and hold up very well.

This next product is one that my husband wanted me to share with you.

He loves it, and he's kind of an electronics guru. The GoPro is a tiny size video camera that's just amazing! It's a great action camera, meaning great for sports people, or if you want to shoot videos by yourself, you can use it as a head band for creating tutorials of your work. It's easy to use, waterproof, and has great video and sound quality. It's not cheap, but depending on the model it's price varies.

Have you tried bubble tea yet?  I have to tell'ya, I didn't even want to try it when my daughter first offered it to me.

Well, after some more persuation on her part, I have to admit, this is now one of my favorite drinks, the bubbles that at first were my least favorite part, are now the thing I like the most. We always buy them at Jumbo Jumbo here in the DC area, but you can try make your own from the recipe here.

Ha, and no, I can't let you go without telling you about the tools that made it to the top of my favorites this year.
As many of you already know, I've been working with Ryobi tools. I think they're great and affordable tools for any homeowner trying to build or fix stuff around the house.

If you ask me what tools I recommend to start getting into DIY projects, my first choice is this, the Ryobi One+ Ultimate Combo Kit.
drills, circular saw, reciprocrating saw
It includes drill, impact driver, circular saw, multi-tool, reciprocating saw, work light, and two lithium-ion 18v batteries and a charger. This Ryobi Ultimate Combo Kit it's a phenomenal starting point or a great way to update old plug in tools, because these are battery operated, no more trouble with cables!
Ryobi tools nailer
Now, the one tool that I'm really LOVING is this -many of you already saw me on Facebook and Instagram- driving nails like crazy. :D- with this: The Ryobi 18-Volt One+ AirStrike 18-Gauge Cordles Brad Nailer.
I cannot stop telling it, it makes things so easy!  No need for a big, old compressor to haul around the house, no cords, no hose. And the driving power is big!

Well that's it for me right now. Want more great gift ideas? Head to Christina's Adventures to see her favorite things, or you can click on any of the links below for more awesome ideas.
