I'm so excited this room makeover is finally coming to an end!
The building is almost done and the decorating has started.
Yeah, I'm talking about choosing colors, accessories, fabrics, pillows, and in this case,
lighting fixtures.
One of the places in this room where a lighting fixture was greatly needed was here, in the closet.

Pairing it with the Edison bulb gives the closet that old timers look I'm trying to achieve in the entire room.
On each side of the built-ins around the bed I decided to install the vintage industrial style iron cage wall sconce, I couldn't find the same model any more. The link is for a similar version.
All these lights are very inexpensive. Who wants to DIY when you can find lighting this affordable and beautiful!
It's all about the little details.
Picture frame lights were also installed on the build-ins to bring light to the shelves and to the working areas.
However, the main fixture in my son's room is the ceiling light, a chandelier barn metal hanging fixture.
I love it!
For the desk area, my son chose cuteness and utility in one spot with this adorable dog shape bamboo LED desk lamp.
Well, this is a little sample of the next phase in this room makeover.
Here are other fixtures that I think might work within your vintage industrial design:

DeleteAdorable dog lamp! Your guy has great taste in lighting. And you do, too, of course. The industrial lighting is perfect for a boy's room and is appropriate at any age. Great longevity choice! :-)

ReplyDeleteCourtney, you can find that info in the Source List post right here: https://goo.gl/1dPBw9. That light is not part of the Parrot Uncle products. Thanks for stopping by!
