With Fall and a home tour almost here, it was time for me to change my Summer mantel. I wanted to mix white and earthy tones not only on the mantel but around the whole house to greet the new season.
What I had in mind was something totally different that I couldn't put together.
Have you been there?
You think of something and try it out, but have to let it go because you couldn't put the whole thing together. Then, you begin thinking about something else, but that first idea keeps on bugging you!
Hmmm I was there.
Plan B came without even thinking about it while spending time with my daughter in her bedroom.
Yep, it was there, in her bedroom, where this vintage printer's letterpress drawer-tray was being used and POP, the idea came. She let me use it, but I have to give it back to her when the season's over. ;)
From there it was a matter of finding little Fall things to display in it.
The pumpkin seeds sign was one of my last year's projects, you can find the graphics right HERE.
Empty frames and some cotton and other branches made the balance on the other side.
My collection of old bottles came into play too. This amber Clorox bottle was my latest find.
This is a pumpkin seeds fall mantel, I had to include some pumpkin seeds! :)
Big thanks to Connie for the cute, free printable Seed packets right HERE.
I couldn't leave the cute pumpkin garland, I found at Ross, inside a container, nope. I'm so glad I brought it out, it makes me smile to see all those cuties one after the other.
On the floor, a wire basket was filled with big decoupage pumpkins.
There you have it, my pumpkin seeds fall mantel.
I have a lot more pumpkin and Fall details that you can check right HERE in my Fall Home Tour!
