A classic red and white Christmas tablescape with a few upcycled elements like the green bottle candleholders and Christmas card holders give an air of festivity to this dining room.
This year I really wanted my decor to include the color red, after a few years of using neutrals and even blue for Christmas decor. Red, is a color that my family loves because as they say "it's a vibrant color" and that's why I gave them plenty of it.
The shallow shelves were decorated with cascading ball ornaments in hopes of them looking like a Christmas tree there on the wall.
A piece from a crib was upcycled as a greeting card display. It instantly became wall art.
The bottle candleholders add height to the entire tablescape. And red ribbon was also added to the chair's back and to the curtains for extra flair.
A few fairy lights on the light spheres make them more festive. And pops of red put a cheerful mode all around the room.
Merry Christmas!
Absolutely beautiful! I loved every detail...such gorgeous eye candy! The tartan napkins are my favorite...so prettily they set off the white china! The wall of shallow shelves and the drapery panels every detail is just sooo perfect! Thanks for the inspiration! Hugs, Poppy
ReplyDeleteSo very pretty! That tartan napkins really add a festive touch. And I love the ornaments on the table and the ones strung up on the shelves. Great job!
ReplyDeleteYour dining room is gorgeous and I love the red and white colors. That crib is such a great idea for displaying Christmas cards - I fear giving and receiving cards has greatly declined - but I still enjoy getting them and receiving them. I love the wine bottles as candle holders. Happy Holidays!
