I am so happy Spring is almost here! I'm loving these warm days we are experiencing right now. Of course, I couldn't wait to begin changing things around my house for the approaching season.
Remember the branches I picked up some days ago? They were calling me "literally", to bring them inside the house from the garage.
I gave them a lighter color by adding water to regular white paint to dilute the color.
But only branches were not enough to decorate the mantel. I found these frames at a thrift store, with the 50% off blue labels... under $5 not bad. ;)
Checking how they would look after removing the previous owners art.....
After some sanding, priming and, spray painting...
They got a new life.
and here you have it, My new Mantel for the season.
The black frame and letter G were bought at Michael's.
Have a great day!
Bright and bold! I love it!
